Eupatorium purpureum

Flowers: Clusters of flat topped pinkish red flowers in mid to late summer. These develop into fluffy seed heads in autumn.

Foliage: Tall red tinged stems with dark green leaves arranged neatly all the way up.

Hardiness: Fully Hardy

Conditions: A large plant suitable for the back of the border. Likes full sun or partial shade and moist alkaline soil.
