Flowers: Numerous small yellow flowers open in succession up the very furry grey/white flower spike in the second summer.

Foliage: Rosette of large evergreen grey/white furry leaves.

Hardiness: Hardy.

Conditions: Prefers poor, alkaline well drained soil in full sun.
